The following programs are available to help accept your generous donations and sponsorship.
Formulated and developed in 2012 by members of the Mounted Patrol Unit, the Adopt-A-Horse program provides opportunity for local businesses, corporations, clubs, and private individuals to sponsor one of the Unit’s horses for the year. The “adoption” sponsorship helps to cover a considerable portion of the yearly operational costs associated with each horse to include feed, hay, bedding, equipment, shoeing, and veterinary care. Successful sponsorship of all the Mounted Patrol Unit’s horses since 2012 has helped reduce the cost of the horses for the Bethlehem taxpayers. For more information and adoption opportunities visit the Unit’s blog by clicking here.
Corporate Community Partners
With the outpouring of support associated with the successful Adopt-A-Horse program, the Mounted Patrol Unit developed both the Corporate Community Partners program and the Giving Club program as a way to recognize generous donations. The CCP program is focused on businesses in, around, and outside the Lehigh Valley who contribute to the financial sustainability of the Bethlehem Police horses. For more information on the program and on how your business can support the horses by becoming a Community Partner visit the Unit’s blog by clicking here.
The Giving Club
Similar to the CCP program, the Giving Club was developed to recognize private individuals and organizations who generously support the Bethlehem Police horses financially through the year. Both Giving Club program members and Community Partners program members are recognized through various levels including displayed on plaques in the Unit’s stable. For more information on the program or on how to join the Giving Club visit the Unit’s blog by clicking here.
